Gait Cycle Analysis Brighton

Movement ASSESSMENT

This is the starting point of your journey. The aim of this first session is to spot as many of your physical dysfunctions that are causing you pain and plot a path forwards.

It all starts with posture, every movement we do as humans relates back to way we stand.

The gait cycle analysis is very important, as through our natural movements of walking and running, we can learn even more about how the body has learned how to move.

You will proceed by learning fundamental myofascial releases (MFR) that you will be able to apply yourself.

Finally, you will get your first corrective exercises to get you going!

For your first appointment please make sure you wear form fitting clothes, avoid baggy garments, for females please make sure you have a top which allows good visibility to your spine.

We will take front, back and side photos, and film you running on the treadmill.

Functional Movement Training

Specialized Program

Whether your goal is to rehabilitate an injury, obtain functional movement exercises tailored for your chosen sport, or enhance your physical well-being, focusing on improving your fundamental biomechanics is essential to reaching your objectives. By honing in on the mechanics of how your body moves and functions, you can optimize your performance and prevent injuries in the long run.

Functional Patterns is the perfect tool for the job due to its unique design that takes into account the real-life variables of human movement. Unlike other systems that may oversimplify or ignore the complexities of biomechanics, Functional Patterns offers a comprehensive approach that considers the intricate interactions between different parts of the body and their functions. By focusing on how our bodies naturally move and adapt in various environments, Functional Patterns provides a more accurate and effective way to improve movement patterns and overall performance. Its emphasis on functionality and practical applications makes it an invaluable resource for athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and anyone looking to enhance their movement quality. It is also a perfect companion system for combat sport, boxing, kick boxing, grappling, and more.
